Q: Where will the cookout be This year? And when?

A: We're headed to the DMV! Chapter Two will be in Washington, D.C.

Q: I purchased a ticket, am i good to go?

A: Watch your inbox! You'll receive an email letting you know what's next.

Q: I submitted a vendor inquiry, what’s next?

A: We’ll reach out to you via email in the next couple of days with more information. Keep an eye on your inbox.

Q: I’m not 18 yet, can I still slide?

A: If you are 17 with a college Id, you have the exception to slide through! Everyone else under 18, please don’t make us have to call your mama, we’ll see you at the next one. And, IDs will be checked at the door!

Q: I brought a ticket but can’t make it anymore, can I get a refund? 

A: All ticket sales are final. You are definitely welcome to gift or transfer your tickets to someone else, though! 

Q: What’s the bag policy?

A:  For the safety + enjoyment of all attendees, only clear bags made of plastic, vinyl, or PVC are permitted. These bags must not exceed the dimensions of 12” x 6” x 12”. In addition to one of these clear bags, you may also bring a small clutch bag, measuring up to 4.5” x 6.5” x 2”.

Exceptions will be made for necessary medical items, but please note that all such items will be subject to inspection prior to entry. 

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to*: 

•Purses larger than 4.5” x 6.5” x 2”
•Coolers
•Briefcases
•Diaper bags
•Backpacks
•Fanny packs
•Cinch bags
•Seat cushions
•Luggage of any kind
•Computer bags
•Camera bags or any bag larger than the permissible size

*fanny packs + small camera bags are permissible check if they are clear.

Q: Can I bring my camera?

A: You can bring your cameras + gear this year—just make sure they fit into your bag (see bag policy). Remember, you’re responsible for your stuff! Please keep in mind that Sai Summer Cookout will not be held liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.

Q: I want to cover this event, can I get a media pass?

A: We’re hyped that you want to cover the cookout, however, we’ve got media covered. You’re more than welcome to capture the good vibes + fun moments this year.
 
If you plan on photographing/interviewing any attendees, please make sure to receive their consent first. Just a heads up that Marsai Martin + our VIP guests won’t be available for interviews or on-camera appearances. We’re all about keeping it cozy + laid-back, so we want these guests to be able to vibe out without the distraction of cameras.
